wedding announcements - do it right the first time

While many different religions and nationalities have their own well established traditions, it is becoming increasingly common for couples of mixed ancestry to marry. Wedding etiquette can be confusing and some of that applies to the bridal shower, as well.

Of course the first thing on the invitation should be the bride to be or the couple's names. It's important to choose a gift not because of its traditional connotations but because you know the groomsmen will cherish the gift. It is important to establish a budget for flowers before you meet with potential florists for your wedding.

The week prior to your wedding was also probably especially hectic with a great deal of last minute details to attend to and errands to run. Another new item to consider is a piece of jewelry, besides your engagement or wedding ring that was given to you by the groom such as a necklace or bracelet. A form fitting bodice with a tulle skirt is very reminiscent of fairy tale weddings.

Planning a bridal shower can see daunting because there are so many options but it is important to remember that you are not bound by traditions and are free to choose any theme, menu and location that the bride will enjoy. You may find that there are a variety of live bands and DJs available for hire in your area.
