unique wedding cakes - get creative

The groom is less likely than the bride to feel that it is very important to have his best friend in on every decision so the majority of the responsibilities of the best man take place either at the wedding or in the few days prior to the wedding. Let's face it, if you are a woman there is a good chance that at one point or another you have been invited to a bridal shower that left you scratching your head or ready to gnaw off your arm just to get out of the room.

One of the distinct advantages to hosting a wedding in your home is that there is more freedom in decorating and food choices. Despite all of these concerns, though, the food is one of the most exciting parts of the bridal shower. The bride may wish to collect pictures of them as a couple from the day they met until now and arrange them artistically in a photo album as a souvenir of their relationship.

The parents of the couple will also usually thank the guests and offer a toast to the couple. When the wedding is for a second marriage, the event is usually not as extravagant as a wedding for a first marriage. While you may be hesitant to provide payment in full before the service is rendered and most of these services providers don't require you to do so, you could make arrangements to leave the balance with a responsible friend or family member who will ensure that they are all paid on the wedding day.

Remember that it is important to allow plenty of time to write your vows. The couple may also wish to include out of town guest in the rehearsal dinner in order to thank them for making the trip to be with them on their wedding day.
