The role of the maid of honor is not to simply walk down the aisle ahead of the bride and stand beside her during the ceremony; she also is one of the most supportive assistants to the bride during the wedding preparations. It's important to attend to all of these tasks but it is also important to take some time to get some rest and relaxation as well.
You are bound to have a great deal of time relaxing and enjoying the company of the rest of the participants in your bachelor party. Of course the first thing on the invitation should be the bride to be or the couple's names. Although a venue may have picturesque views and gorgeously decorated rooms if the food is not up to par you may want to consider a different venue in which to host your wedding.
Again, compromise may be necessary to find a style that will work for all of the bridesmaids. Bath towels and wash clothes may be on the registry but are still a great gift for most newlyweds. You may find that the couple has included many inexpensive items in their registry that may fall within your budget constraints.
Although a destination wedding may sound perfect, it is important to realize that there are a few downsides to hosting a destination wedding. Traditional bridesmaid's gifts such as jewelry and jewelry boxes are always welcomed but if you have a large group of friends and most of them will be bridesmaids several more times as more of your friends get married it might be nice to give your bridesmaids a gift that is unique.
